RTBU members in the Administrative, Supervisory, Technical and Professional Division include members employed in a range of administrative, supervisory, technical or professional positions, or in any clerical or other position which attracts an annual salary, but excludes trades and the driving of trains, buses, trams or other vehicles. The Division covers members in passenger and freight rail, as well as the bus sector.
The main membership of the Division consists of members employed as:
- Station Managers and Duty Managers
- Front Line Managers and Supervisors across all industry sectors
- Administrative and Clerical Staff in all industry sectors
- Customer Service Staff
- State Transit Revenue Officers
- Train Controllers
- Senior Management and Salaried staff in State Transit and Sydney Ferries
- Engineering, Research, Scientific and other technical and professional staff
