As a member, you are entitled to the assistance and services provided by the union, and play a part in its democratic decision-making processes. Should you require any assistance or advice, please do not hesitate to contact your local delegate/ organiser or the Union Office.
Because of members like you who have joined the Union over it's long history, we have established working conditions and wage rates that have been achieved which no one person could have achieved alone. This is because as a Union is like a team, all working together.
BUT, your union can only perform according to the will of its members, it is as strong or as weak as the members which it represents.
Whilst members may enjoy good working conditions today, we are constantly reviewing these conditions to ensure that they continue to meet the needs of our members. If we are to succeed in moving ahead, you need to be actively involved.

Regular meetings are held in each workplace and we urge you and all members to attend, if possible.
